On episode 8 of the Terry Nation 1975 "Survivors" series... WOW.
Survival Fiction/Horror has always been my favorite (Red Dawn, 28 Days Later, Omega Man, etc) because I like to imagine what I would do during a Zombie Apocalypse or other world-changing disaster like that. Like most Zombie Film Enthusiasts, I'm constantly sizing-up pretty much every store and building I encounter, evaluating it as to if it would be a good place to fend off the hoards of zombies. A Mall would be cool but too big and too many entries to keep them all secure. WalMart has too many windows to board up. Walgreens Drug Store is pretty good, but...
Anywho, those were the types of things i would consider.
But now, thanks to Terry Nation, I have whole NEW THINGS to worry about. EVERY FRIGGIN' EPISODE brings up a new point that I hadn't considered! And then to make it just *that much* more intense and enthralling, there's NO SOUNDTRACK. You get music t the beginning and the end, and THAT'S IT. You never know when something is gonna pop out at you!
I can not recommend this series highly enough. I can't believe it sat around for nearly THIRTY-FIVE YEARS waiting for me to discover it!
