1980's Saturday Morning Historical Recreation Society Poll - Golden Age?

In the VERY preliminary stages of our next watch-along (not till December, so settle down), figured I'd ask all y'all this question so we have an idea of which years we should aim for in our reenactment... so when exactly *where* The 80's to you, anyways?

Stuck

t about 10:45 I realized that my Gout medicine was making my stomach TOO upset to fall asleep, so I decided to get up and grab a bready snack to try and calm the acids rumbling around down there.

Ate a biscuit. Ate it too fast.

See, when you have the Lap Band like I do? If you eat too fast, you run the risk of getting that food "Stuck" in your teeny-tiny food pouch and it's EXTREMELY painful. The only way to get the pain to go away is to basically go in to the bathroom and induce vomiting (that's not what it actually is, biut for all intents and purposes? I'm bringing up big gobd of half-digested food so I think that "MVomiting" is an apt phrase here). After your done getting the food out, you still feel sick.

So now here I sit at 11:10 in so much pain I know I'll never fall asleep... and I think there's still a bit of that biscuit stuck in my band so I'll have to go try to bring it up in a little bit :(
