The two messages I keep hearing in my Christmas music this year are these: Pete's on Earth, and we need to pray for Pete's people EVERYWHERE.
I can only assume that Pete is some sort of merciless Intergalactic tyrant who goes from planet to planet enslaving the population (at which point they become "Pete's People"), and he's finally reached Earth.
Should we be concerned about this? Should I maybe write it all up on a piece of cardboard and shout my theories from some down-town sidewalk to any and all who wish to join the Anti-Pete Liberation Front?
