071 - Now THAT'S a GOOD COMIC BOOK!

It was a struggle to get it, but DC Comics Rebirth was the most emotionally satisfying mainstream superhero comic book I've bought since... 2004? TWELVE YEARS? REALLY?!?!?

Just look at that image... it's *perfect*. Those are HEROES, who are HAPPY that they have God-like powers and are excited to help people!

I don't know how it will play to the younger crowd, but for *me*, it was perfect. It has me excited to read comics again! I've already read it TWICE, and will probably read it a third time as well! SO GOOD!

ANd on the flip-side of that coin, I'm done with Marvel Comics. Their movies may rock, but their comics just suck. I can't remember the last Marvel comic I actually cared about that was actually a part of "The Marvel Universe"... does Squadron Supreme count?
