Saturday Mornings

Since I'm working bright and early Saturday mornings now, I have decided that I will watch cartoons, and ONLY cartoons, till at least noon every day while here.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find decent cartoons these days?

Finally stumbled across some Spider-Man, X-Men and Fantastic Four stuff on ABC Familly, but come ON! Saturday Morning used to be amecha of juvenile entertainment and youth-market advertising! Where's my "The Real Ghostbusters"? Where's my "Superfriends"?

WHERE'S MY "ONE TO GROW ON"?!?!?

Thank God we have enough DVDs to make our own Saturday morning lineup for our kid!

BTW - Ghostbusters II was on Comedy Central this morning!

They all went to work for Adult Swim... Occasionally appearing on Harvey Birdman. That, and all the people who used to slave over a hot drawing board for hours coming up with quality entertoonment... got old & have retired to an animator's commune in Florida.
