It's like a DAY OFF!!!

I worked 14 hours of overtime this week, so since today I am going overtimeless it fels like a day off! Sleeping in till 12:30! Leisurely checking my mail and my LJ! Getting to know the chick and her kid that live with me (aparently they are my wife and daughter - who woulda thunkit)! Getting to burn some newly downloaded gunk off my hard drive! And still FOUR HOURS till I have to be to work!

So some of the stuff I've been burning off today:

• The Real Ghostbusters (cartoon) Season 1 (13 episodes)
  
• KISS Meets The Phantom of The Park (1971)
  
• 6 hours of uninterrupted MTV from September 9th 1982 (complete wih commercials)
  
• Red Dwarf USA (both verions, unaired Americanization of Red Dwarf)
  
• X-Men: The Animated Series Season 3
  
• Heat Vision & Jack (unaired sci-fi TV pilot starring Jack Black and Owen Wilson)

...And of course, about a gazillion episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000. I finally got the Nero 7 to work for making my own DVD's from standard .avi and .mpg files, so that's pretty cool... now all I have to do is work on making them look *pretty*.

Oh, and Wednesday was Brittany's 13th Birthday. Officially a teenager! Had I not ben working from sun-up till sun-down, I would have called her to wish her a happy-happy, but I'll have to settle for doing it today.

Oh dear - we downloaded the US Red Drawf once. Boy, was the Lister guy horrible. It was nearly self-parody. The MTV sounds cool, though!
