10 years...

captain_slinkyLast night was the 10th Anniversary of Penny and I meeting and becoming bestest friends. TEN YEARS! I had gotten a little gift for her to celebrate (a miniature book about The Beatles that was smaller than *any other book in the world*!), but didn't think that our anniversary was till the 25th for some reason. Anyway, talking over ICQ about it got us in to planning to have dinner together at Red Lobster (so we could stay Low-Carb), and it went from me just getting her a little something to commemorate the day in to an actual Gift Excahnge! So I rushed out and picked up a few more thoughtful gifts that showed how I know her (some Hello Kitty tattoos and a magnetic notepad so she can make lists even when she is away from the computer), and a card. Yup, I was feeling pretty good about myself, thinking I had gotten a pretty cool set of gifts for her... till i saw what she got me.

Lordy, lordy, LORDY! Did my gifts stink, or what??? As I sat there in awe of my gift, I realized how well Penny knows me, and how this day really represented out entire relationship; I try my best to show I care, and she just knows how to do it *perfectly*.
Also, just like the entire 10 years of the relationship, she paid for my dinner :)

Diane left hers on motion detect when she left for class once and her roommate came it and he started talking to her... She couldn't figure out where it was coming from and freaked out. Ahh haha. Fun stuff. :)
