What a day!

captain_slinkyBeen here two hours, and I am on my third call of the day.
LOOOOONNNNNG CALLS!!!
But at least they're not NASTY long calls. They're actually quite pleasant!
One was a Mac user who couldn't get on-line through her Airport Extreme. And this Mac was LOADED with images (using 98% of disk space) so every reboot took forever. But I was nice enough to check her settings, help her bypass the Airport to verify connectivity, then re-connect the Airport afterwards. And she was happy :)
Then I had a lady who DOWNGRADED her computer from WinME to Win98 because WinME was just too darned confusing and high-tech. And she needed help with her Self-Install Kit. And she needed COMPLETE help; hadn't even taken the cable modem out of the box! So I walked her through hooking up and getting registered. And she was happy :)
Now on my third call, and the nice lady can't get connectivity from her router so she's bypassing the router right now. Modem and router are in the basement; Computer is on THE THIRD FLOOR. her and her two sons are moving the whole kit-n-kaboodle downstairs right now. And despite the workoout she's getting, she seems happy :)
It's all good as long as everybody stays happy :)
