captain_slinkySitting here taking call after call after call at werk (40 people holding for 20 minutes), and I suddenly have A VISION. ANd a beautiful thing it is, too... for it is my Happy Place.
It was a vision of my future Comic Book Store, "The Escape From Reality II".
For quite a while now I've been trying to decide what my show was gonna look like on the inside. SAYING that you're gonna open a comic book store is one thing, but actually having an image in yoru mind of how it will look? That's an entirely differen creature. And quite frankly, I could not decide on a layout at all.
But now? Out of nowhere I get it... I GOT IT! It's so simple it's beautiful, yet so complex it makes me slightly giddy to think about it! And I've got it all; Back issues, Current Issues, Trade paperbacks, a Private Reading Room... it's all here! And it's a straight-up COMIC BOOK store, not a "Comics & Cards" or a "Comics & Collectables" or a "Comics & Toys" shop... it's a hard-core COMIC BOOK STORE.
