Granite Falls
Jul. 7th, 2006 06:45 pmToday we took a trip up to Granite Falls, and I have absolutely fallen in LOVE with the area. It's *extremely* small-town, in the middle of nowhere, but TONS of trees and mountains and everything that makes Washington State wonderfull. It'd be like living in a State Park! And because it's so far out there (like 20 minutes from Everett) the houses are *almost* in our price range! Or at least much closer to our price range than any of the other areas we've looked in to.
I really do think that Granite Falls is where I would eventually like to end up.
But first we need to get in to a Condo so we can start building equity! I also need to get selling on Ebay again so we have "Mad Money" and can start saving up for a down payment. We've already got some pretty good credit repair processes going on right now with the Secured Loan through the Credit Union and all that... I could see us moving in to a Condo by the end of the year, and then moving to Granite Falls (or at the very least in to a real house) by ther time Molly is 5 or six, just in time for Kindergarden!
