9:30 IN THE MORNING?!?!?

Due to the ungodly hour that the Magic: The Gathering "Cold Snap" Pre-Release Tournament starts, we will not be attending. But we *might* go to see the double-feature at the drive-in on Sunday night, which just happens to be Pirates of The Carribean II AND Superman Returns!

Or, alternately, we might just sit at home and watch more Corner Gas.

Either way, this is *MY* weekend because of the stupid shift change at werk, and how starting on Tuesday I'll be working TEN DAYS STRAIGHT till my next days off, no overtime involved. I'm moving from have the FIRST two days of the pay-week off to having the LAST two days of the pay-week off. And let me tell ya, it STINKS!

Edit Update!!!

Okay, I got Pat to give me Friday the 14th off! That will mean that we can drive up to Mount Vernon on Friday afternoon/night, then go and do Shipwreck Day in Anacortes with my parents on Saturday morning before I have to come in to work at 4! Time to start scrounging up all my change for the North-West's Largest Garage Sale!

If you are looking to go to the drive IN make sure you are there by 7pm, tried going laast night at 8 and we were told to turn around by the cops , they had sold out, :( fortunatly/unfortunatly, you cant fandango your tickets so its first come first served.... just wanted to give you the head up altho this could have just been cuz it was a saturday night.....

Yeah, Friday and Saturday nights at the drive in are the nuttiest times to go. Sunday is a close second, and the only "safe" time to go is usually Tuesday through Thursday. Or at least that's how it was when I was a kid :)

Shipwreck Day in Anacortes. Saturday, July 15th. The Anacortes newspaper has absolutely NO information about it, but it IS this Saturday!
