I hate to get political, but...

One of the big arguments against Obama that I keep hearing over and over again (other than the fact that his vision for America is dangerously close to Communism) is that he's an "Elitist". No one can point to one particular part of his life and say "THAT! Right there! That's what makes him an elitist", but they all eat the phenobarbital pudding and keep repeating the mantra that Obama equals Elitist.

BUT IT'S NOT AS IF HE'S SO ELITIST THAT HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW OR PARTICULARLY CARE ABOUT HOW MANY HOUSES HE OWNS!!!

I mean seriously! McCain is collecting property in the same way an average schmuck might collect Fast Food Drink Cups! "Dude! Look what I found in the back of the cupboard! It's a Taco Bell cup from BATMAN RETURNS! I forgot I even had that thing back there!"

(On a side note, it should be noted that I was torn between what approach to take towards this post. I went with Elitism, sure, but it could have worked just as well as a "So old he doesn't know how many houses he owns or if he remember to take his pills today or remembered to wear pants" bit.)

If for no other reason...

1) Obama is from Hawaii. +1.
2) He went to one of the hottestshit private richkid schools in Hawaii - one of the ones that stupid rural kids like me were overly impressed by when we heard the name - AND HE WENT THERE AS A POOR KID ON A SCHOLARSHIP. +1.
3) His mom was a crazy hippie who ditched him with his grandparents & went off to do good works in Africa somewhere. +2.
4) Despite all this, he put his ass through college & did exceptionally well in a place that's just CRAWLING with valedictorians & straight-A students, so the man's not dumb. +5.

I haven't heard anything nearly as attractive about McCain. And yeah, maybe i'm being a classically biased Hawaiian Expat, but i'm voting for the local kid. Besides, McCain keeps bashing my D&D Peeps!

Actually the Batman Returns cups came from McDonalds. I think the first Batman had their thing through Taco Bell.

Not that that's here nor there... Obama isn't Kennedy. You can't hold Kennedy's record against Obama any more than we can hold Nixon's record against McCain. Nice try, though!

Also, McCain and Obama have the exact same amount of experience as president; Zero.

You know what I mean. Experience in politics. And from my perspective, lack of experience in politics has caused problems in our past, and if we don't learn from history we are condemned to repeat it.
