captain_slinky | Why My Valentine Is The Best

My Valentine doesn't know much about Comic Books, but she is learning quickly. Last weekend at the Emerald City Comic Con, she not only got in line with me 3 hours before the doors opened, but she also stayed till 4:30 until I was good and ready to leave! And all through the convention, she would make special trips taking stuff out to our car. And she even tracked me down at one point and fed me String Cheese while I dug through a Quarter Bin, because she knew I hadn't eaten at all that day!

In these past two years, she has gone from a completely blank slate with no interests (she admits this freely), to being a girl who loves Piers Anthony Novels, any comci book filled with Dark Humor ("Transmet", "Barry Ween", "Preacher"), and is very fond of Star Trek: Enterprise!

My Valentine keeps on letting me know that she loves me every single day, and I can't imagine myself with anyone other than her for the rest of my life. It's like I'm a living, breathing version of the "Family Ties" theme song! "It's like we've been together for a million years / And I'll bet we'll be together for a million more / Well it's a-like I started breathing on the night we kissed / and I can't remember what I ever did before / What would we do baby, without us?"
