Good Birthday / Bad Mothers Day

captain_slinkyBACKGROUND: Last weekend, my birthday fell on Mothers Day. So Crystal opted to postpone HER Mothers Day celebration till THIS Sunday, which is the Sunday after HER Birthday (which was on Saturday the 14th).
Crystal's Birthday, I think, was perfect for her. She got to use up all our WalMart gift cards to shop for gardening stuff, she got lots of coffee, I kept the house mostly clean, and she found some INCREDIBLE deals at Garage Sales (vintrage 1970's Playmobile sets in a free box, a giant tub of Lego for $10, etc). At the end, we had a bowl of whipped cream and fresh berries instead of a cake. All in all a very nice day :)
Today for her Mother's Day, however... she made herself sick by drinking entirely too much coffee :(
