Yesterday, Molly did something to her throat that was *bad*. It hurt her enough to REQUEST MEDICINE for her pain! She was in tears off and on all night long, and barely slept for more than an hour at a time till about 8:30 this morning. She woke up, came out to the couch, couldn't talk, cried a bit, watched some Pokemon and then fell asleep.

She slept from about 11am till 7pm, when she was suddenly AWAKE and TALKATIVE. It was as if she hadn't even had her tonsils out AT ALL!

She drank three cups of Juice. She requested Ice Cream. She requested Macaroni & Cheese. She ate and drank and is currently feeling plenty merry!

For a while there, though, we were super-worried :(

But at least while I was trying to distract myself from my sleep-crying baby, I was able to accomplish all sorts of stuff! Cleaned the kitchen real good, found new on-line radio stations I really like, got about half-way through "Ready Player One" and even learned/played two new games with Crystal ("Cosmic Cows" and "Cogna", both excellent fun :)

OOH! ANd I made an excellent low-carb sauce that I'll post about on it's own!

I feel her pain! I never had my tonsils out, but I did have major major MAJOR oral surgery when I was about 6 or 7. (I had a full set of extra teeth that had to be removed, as well as half my already-grown-in-teeth. It was an absolutely horrible experience in every way .__. and I remember those random periods where it would be way worse and then suddenly fine again. But there is nothing better than invalid time with the parental units. No child ever feels as loved as they do after some sort of surgery. (Plus, constant ice cream supply? Worth it!!!)
