We couldn't do Arrow either and we have great motivation to watch Mr. Arrow in his wearing next-to-nothingness all over the screen. The rest of it was so bad we couldn't.
Supernatural is like a low brow version of Buffy to me. It never quite achieves camp in an enjoyable way.
I would really recommend The Fall the Northern Irish/BBC series staring Gilian Anderson. If you haven't watched the series Wonder Falls, I think your kid might even be able to watch it. Excellent. Life on Mars. Fantastic time-travel/cop show from BBC. Modern cop is trapped back in the '60s. Maybe.
