captain_slinkyMolly came home tonight wanting to watch Ke$sha and Mikki Manage music videos, barely appropriate listening material for an 8-year-old. Not that we really censor much, mind you, it's just... it's just not really good music imho.
So I used The Internet to... bend... her preferences.
First, I fulfilled her requests for Ke$ha, then slid backwards to some Spice Girls. From there we moved over to Averil Lavigne and did her career *backwards*, starting at "Hello Kitty" then going to "Rock And Roll Will Never Die" and ending on "Sk8er Boi".
Molly, having now gone full-on GIRL ROCK POWER, was now ready to move on to my true target, the Godmother of all Bad-Ass Rock-N-Roll Girl Power - JOAN JETT.
She loved Joan Jett, but as soon as we watched the video for "I Hate Myself For Loving You", she had a hankerin' for some Michael Jackson (understandable if you've ever seen the video), and that's where we end the night with the King Of Pop.
