English... *Johnny* English.

Went to a sneak-preview screening of the new Rowan Atkinson movie "Johnny English" tonight with P&C and of course Crystal (who is never more than a few moments away from my side).
The movie was a riot... more serious than Austin Powers and more realistic than James Bond. Very VERY funny with some spectacular stunts (considering that it was an English film), and it could very well end up being the "Hit Comedy" of the Summer!
However, there *was* a problem tonight. Poor, poor Crystal :( First off, she had had a TERRIBLE day at work. She works in Customer Service, so her job is to get yelled at non-stop by angry people on the phone. Usually she can make the people stop yelling and calm down a bit, but today no one was willing to be calmed. So when she came out of work, she was already quite frazzled. The drive in to Seattle to see the movie, however, seemed to calm her down and she was ready to be enjoying the film. She dropped me off in front of the Theater to get in line while she went to try and find some free parking.
This was at about 5:45. The movie would start at 7.
At 6, I called to find out what was going on. Aparently, the car was beginning to stall in the middle of intersections, and she was trying to drive around down-town Seattle at rush hour. Combine that with all the one-way streets around the theater, and it made for a very frustrating hunt for parking! Plus, she had really needed to go pee since about 5:30.
By 6:50, everyone had all ready been seated in the theater and Crystal had just then decided to go ahead and pay for parking (P&C had found free parking with little or no effort which just contributed to the angry yelling/bad traffic/one-way streets/having to pee/no luck finding parking anger). Luckily, P&C had gone in to the theater ahead of tie and grabbged us the absolute best seats in the house. So we got to enjoy the movie, and Crystal even laughed through it all!
After the movie on the way to the car, she snapped at me a bit, so the ride home was very quiet.
I don't like it quiet, but sometimes it's what's best for the moment.
