Brittany and I just got done seeing Hulk for the first time. And all I have to say is...

"What the hell are all the haters smoking?"

This was not just a great *comic book* movie, it was a great MOVIE in general! Remember everything you hated about Daredevil? The rushed romance? The silly visual effects? The Keanu-esque method aof acting that Ben Affleck picked up? The cheesy one-linerd and over-use of comicbook in-jokes? Hulk is the *exact polar opposite* of that. INCREDIBLE effects that really made me forget it was computer generated. A story that made me really feel for the characters - ALL the characters. And a 2-hour-18-minute movie that a fidgety 10-year-old girl was able to sit through, absorb, and love. How often do you get *that*?!?!?

The things that bothered me - only two of them - were so small and overshadowed by the good in this film that I'm very hesitant to even mention them. But...

First off, they didn't stick to the comic books. And yet it was more like the comic book than any other comic book movie in recent history has ever been... in *feeling*. Hard to explain, but it made a comic-book purist as strong as ME say "Damn, that was nice!"

Secondly, the guy who plays The Hulk (what's his name? Eric Bananna, I think... something like that). I was only maybe 20 minutes in to the film before I realized that he looks more like a grown-up Corey Feldman than Corey Feldman does.

AND THAT WAS IT! Wonderful, wonderful film!
