123 - Authentic Riddelbarger Lamps
May. 28th, 2015 07:17 amInspired by famed artist Ben Riddelbarger, I have started creating beautiful lamps that I fully intend to sell... somewhere. Not sure of where yet, but here's what I have so far:

"Damsel In Distress (Featuring Gunnersaurus)"

"I Had Kinda Hoped That It Would Be Snakes"

"The Adventure Begins" aka "Okay So You All Find Yourselves In A Pub" aka "Sammy The Pig & His Adventuring Assistants".
Pictures can not do these golden beauties justice. They are things that MUST be seen in person to fully appreciate - and so I need to start getting tables at craft shows, toy shows and comic book shows.
Other challenges include: Where do I keep them between shows, and how do I get them to the shows? They are largeish and slightly delicate, I can't imagine getting more than 8 or 10 in to a vehicle at one time. Considering that a table at even the cheapest craft show is usually $35 these days (and that's SUPER CHEAP), I'd have to price these at $25 to $50 each in order to turn any kind of profit!
Are these worth it? Would you pay $30 for a lamp like that?
