Art3mis, devoted network terminal and beloved laptop, passed away yesterday morning. She is survived by long-time companion and dedicated file server Fry's PC, a Surface 2 Pro, a Dell Studio One running Ubuntu, and several portable android devices.

Cause of death is unknown at this time, though sources close to the family suggest that Art3mis had been battling several debilitating ailments for most of her life, going as far back as when she was first booted-up and it was discovered that she had an overactive touch pad. Doctor Brian J. Pierce, who had been with Art3mis right up to the very end, commented further.

"It seemed like she was trying new drivers every week in order to fix that touch pad problem," said Dr. Pierce, "But that was only the beginning. BIOS Flashing, System Restore, even an upgrade to Windows 10 - Everything just seemed to make her condition worse".

Authorities speculate that there may have been foul play involved, as Dr. Pierce was observed on numerous occasions screaming at Art3mis and threatening to throw her across the room.

"Things could be pretty tense around those two when they were working on these problems," says a portable Android device who wished to remain anonymous. "It seemed like the more he screamed at her, the worse she got!"

Supporters of Art3mis who saw her just the day before her passing would comment that she was not looking good. Embedded videos would not play, Flash content crashing her system and a completely unusable touch pad were just the internally troubling issues - externally, her screen was hanging on by a single frozen hinge.

And then, at approximately 10:27am on Monday August 30th 2015, with her screen dangling precariously from a single hinge, she highlighted and then deleted an entire page of text that Dr. Pierce had been writing all morning long before freezing up and saying "Something went wrong... Windows will restart now".

Services were held at the Target Store in Factoria Mall, where they were having an incredible pre-Labor Day Sale on Laptops. Doctor Pierce was accompanied by a shiny new Acer Aspire who was doing her best to console him.

Sniff....that is a lovely eulogy. It is sad, though, that she suffered from social anxiety and was in a verbally turbulent relationship with her human overlord.
