046 - Morecrastination

Procrastination is multiplying at an alarming rate, with things popping up that allow me to add more and more things to the stack before I can get to making new lamps.

Today, I need to take our car to Discount Tire and have them fix a slow leak. While I'm out, I should also pick up a new screwdriver for taking apart toys (the ones I have are too big), and OOH it's Free Play Night at that new Zulu's Game Cafe in Bothell that we've been wanting to try out!

When I coined that, I said that to a director. It just came out without thinking. I was only half-joking at the time. He had been putting off doing something we needed for weeks. I was mortified that I'd said it for a couple of seconds because I thought I'd offended him, and then he laughed so hard and got up and wrote it on his whiteboard. I breathed a sigh of relief.

You are not procrastinating. You are merely doing multi-tasking with a bit of prioritization thrown in. The lamps will be done....eventually.
