A sad, sad day for wimmin-folk everywhere

captain_slinkySorry, ladies of LJ, but this is one product that has been officially taken off the market.
That's right! After 2 and a half years of being engaged, today Crystal and I got married! Eloped may be a better word for it, though... we told *no one*. No one from either of our families was invited.
Chris did the ceramony. Penny witnessed. Brittany was our ring bearer. And on of Crystal's co-workers was our other witness.
We had figured that a lot of people would be pissed, but so far the only pissy people have been my parents. The phone call with my mom:
Yes, she actually hung up on me. Then my father called to tell me congratulations, and to say that they are both happy for Crystal and I, but sad to find out that they aren't nearly as important to us as they thought they were. Oh, and I made my mother and two Aunts cry.
In a later conversation, my mom appologized and said she's extremely happy for us; she was just shocked is all.
