captain_slinky | At least THE UNIVERSE likes me!

Channel 11 here in the greater Seattle area (KISW, a UPN affiliate) shows some of the cheesiest movies of all times on Saturday afternoon and calls the program "Movies That Bite". They do the standard cannon of MST3K bait movies like "The Beginning Of The End", The Killer Shrews", and pretty much anything from that great period known as 50's B-Movie Cinema. In the tradition of Commander USA, Elvira Mistress Of The Dark, Svengoulie, and a gazillion other Saturday Afternoon Monster Flicks of days gone by, the entire show is framed by a host (Chris Cashman) who makes witty observation about the movie. He is usually co-hosted by a local celebrity of some sort who gives out a recipe during one of the breaks, and there's a "Line Of The Week" contest.

Long story short, I won last week's "Line Of THe Week" contest! They are sending me a prize package from Archie McPhees, some DVD's, and various other goodies!

Definately worth being woken up from a Kodine-induced dream about Calendars ANY DAY!
