7 to 10 days

captain_slinkyGt home Thursday after work (technically Friday morning at 2:30 am) and had a snack of smoked salmon before heading to bed.
At 5 am, I started having severe stomach cramps, accompanied by nausea and extreme "A&W Rootbeer Factory" diarhea.
By 6, I was throwing up alot. A dark brown at first, tapering off to a lighter tan by the end... all with that great Alder-Smoked falvor of my Dad's smoked salmon! I assumed the Salmon must have been tainted, and thanked the powers that be for giving me the opportunity to expell it from my system.
By 8, I was still crapping and puking like there was no tomorrow, so I let Crystal take me to the Doctor.
By 9 I had found out that actually have a nasty viral Flu that is going around, and I'll have this for 7 to 10 days. For the first time in my life, I threw up in a Doctors Office. I was then given a shot to help take care of the nausea, and prescriptions for both Nausea and Diarhea pills.
Then I came home and slept for about 24 hours.
