Welcome to my Weekly Update, where I update you on the stuff that stuck out to me in my personal life during the past week, in no particular order!

• Saw Sky Captain and The World Of Tomorrow on Sunday, and MAN was it cool! Like a blender full of Star Wars and Indiana Jones puree'd, then poured in to a mold from the 40's and baked in a Fleisher Superman Cartoon oven at 450 degrees for about 92 minutes till it's *just right*. It makes me want to get an X-Box just so I can play Crimson Skies, and/or start up a Crimson Skies campaign at the very least!
  
• I can hardly wait till October 3rd, which is when my new shift starts. Having Sunday and Monday off PLUS gettng off work at a normal hour like 7:30 is going to open up my life like you wouldn't believe! I'm already planning for Monday nights to be "Game Night" at our house in one way or another.
  
• My Dad took a stress test at the hospital this week and he failed. He either (a) has asthma, or (b) his heart is dieing a little bit at a time. How the heck does a doctor come right out and tell you something like that? "Looks like your heart is dieing a little bit at a time... dieing, dieng, dead... or, alternately, it might just be asthma. Or a dead heart. Probably asthma, though. But still, DEAD HEART! Little bit at a time!"
  
• khristle and I have recently discovered an energy drink called "Rip It". Sugar-free, zero carbohydrates, and cram-packed with stimulants. It makes being awake nearly bearable!

Yup! That's why we got it! And it makes my heart skip a few beates every time I down another can! *ANY* beverage that says "DO NOT DRINK MORE THAN 2 SERVINGS IN ONE SITTING" on it has GOT to be good for you, right?

Mondays are going to be quite a rush to say the least. Magic starting at 5, then home for either MORE Magic or other games! I picked up a tn of WizKids Crimson Skies stuff on clearance, so I'm really hoping I can get that going.

And lastly, they make a non-SF version of "Rip It" for you skinny folks as well (and yes, you *are* the skinny folk. Don't even start with me). It's on sale at Albertson's right now, 10 cans for $10!
