Server is down!!!
Nov. 5th, 2001 01:39 pmI love days like today! The Citrix Server is down, and has been since about 8 this morning. So I've been being paid to sit here and read comic books! HOODY HOO!!! It's like when your teacher leaves the room, and no one knows about it except for the kids in the class... it's a John Barnes day!
Who is John Barnes?
John Barnes was a professional high-school student. It was his third attempt at making it from Junior to Senior, and he was failing miserably. But on the plus side, he could legally buy beer! First thing every morning, I had Social Studies with him. Social Studies was taught by Edward "Easy Ed" Vadset. He had all the personality of Ben Stein's character in "Feris Beuhler's Day Off", and was often the butt of many jokes. One day, John Barnes decided to drop 4 hits of Acid in to Easy Ed's coffee. As the bell rang, Ed finished off his cup of Magical Mystery Coffee and walked to his podium at the front of the room. We all starred at him as he looked at us with a smile, then went white as a ghost. He frantically grabbed the edges of his podium and starred blankly at us... then at the blackboard... then at his podium. Then he went back to his desk, grabbed his coat and a book, and left. No one noticed he was gone till 4th period. John Barnes then became a LEGEND at Anacortes High School.
