Feh!

A week and two days. That's whow long I've been hobbling around on one foot in constant pain and agony... one week and two days! It started hurting one night at work, and it gradually got worse and worse till morning, when i could no longer even stomach the idea of standing up. Alieve, Tylenol, even VICODIN had no effect on the pain. But I decidced i would just try and "walk it off", and that if it wasn't better in a week, i would go to a doctor.

So Yesterday, i went to the doctor. He couldn't figure out what's wrong with it, so he refered me to a foot doctor. Set up the appointment for next Tuesday morning.

So of course, today my food feels 99% better. Barely a twinge of pain at all!

Somehow, I blame this on the Bush administration >:(

Columbia House

Unable to get ANYTHING done on Columbiahouse.com, I decided to call them up and take care of things (have our "Fun Cash" used for our last purchase, cancel the "Director's Selection" for this month, and cancel our membership). But since the account is in the name of Crystal Caldwell (from before we were married), they can't help me at all. But she's at work! She can't call during your crap-ass East Coast business hours! I begged, I pleaded, I even tried to reason with them. But they said it was for my own protection, that NOTHING could be done unless we were talking with the person who's name is on the account. It's part of their privacy and security policy, designed to give their customers the most and finest security available.

So I called back an hour later and said i was Crystal. Didn't even disguise my voice. Just said "Yeah, I'm Crystal". Not even a questioning tone was detected. They just went ahead and did it for me.

The moral of the story is that if you try to do thing *legally*, it just ain't gonna work. Always go with deception and bold-faced lying. It's the only way that actually works!

Saturday

Remeber, Saturday is the big day! Here's that LINK to my Amazon.com WISH LIST, incase you forgot it. It should give you an idea of what to get me. And remember; the only thing better than buying me a present? Buying me TWO presents!!!

Took Brittany out last night because she will be at her Father's place on my Birthday, and I wanted to get to have at least a dinner with her as celebration. And yeah, we decided to try it on Cinco De Mayo. STUPID!!! ut we *did* get balloon animals and a face painting, so that made the hour we wasted waiting for a table seem worth it :)

Later, after dropping Britt off at her home, Crystal and I went out to a very romantic restaurant (romantic to us, at least) and had dinner. Every time we go there, I rememeber our very first "Date" where we actually went out to dinner. She wore her hair in pom-pom pigtails because she knows I think it's cute :) She's so sweet, I love her more and more all the time :)
