Yeah, all our eggs were in one basket... so what? I still regret NOTHING! She *needed* to get out of that job, and we both knew it. In just three days of unemployment, she's been happier than I've seen her in a very long time. More relaxed, more happy, more SMILE! Getting away from Premera was the best thing she could have done.
So we're going to panic about finances for a little while, which I don't think will be much of a panic at all (between unemployment and Ebay, we'll be ROLLING in it!). When I think of all the *little things* that I am more than willing to give up in order to have her be happy like she has been these past three days, well, on a monthly basis *alone*...
- No more Pizza - $40
- Cut the Fast Food by at least HALF - $30 to $60
- Convenience Store 20oz and 1 liter bottles - $4 to $15
- Comic Book Budget CUT to $10 per pay period - $50
- DVD's - $50
- Video Games - $10 to $25
So at the VERY LEAST, we're talking about around $200 per month in SAVINGS here! And it's only going to take 2 weeks or so to get the Ebay business off the ground and supporting itself, so there's extra cash to be had there!
We've got unread Comic Books to last till forever. We've got free internet and cable TV to occupy our time. Magic cards we haven't even played with, DVD's we haven't even watched, games we haven't played and so much stuff to do that won't cost us ONE RED CENT... there's no reason we need to spend more cash on anything but food, rent, car and insurance ever again, EVER!
So I'm just trying to say that really, honey, we're *going* to be okay. We really, really are!
