It's comforting to know that if any more members of 80's hair-band Loverboy die, go back to rehab or need to take some time off to watch the grandkids, then at least THIS GUY is ready and poised to take their place, all by himself. He's got the moves. He's got the "come hither" look. And he's got a job that gives him weekends off. What more could you ask for?

Lung Butter

I knew I should have requested today off last night... I knew it! This morning I can barely breathe, I ache, my head hurts, I've got the runs and I'm coughing up copious amounts of what can only be described as caramel-colored "Lung Butter". That's HUGE chunks of phlegm, folks. Thick enuff to be sliced up and served with a side of Mashed Potatoes.

BAD SLINKY!

khristle wanted me to go to the Urgent Care Facility near our home, she thinks I have a sinus infection. And I agreed with her, and I fully intended to go, and probably skip work today as well. After all, I'm in NO condition to talk on the phone for 8 hours!

Then time just sorta slipped away in a blurr of sleepiness.

And now here I am, getting ready to go to work and suffer simply because I don't want to risk an "Incident" there. Wouldn't it just suck to get fired now for an attendance policy slip-up?

I'll check it all out tonight, see if I can safely have a sick day, maybe come home early and schedule tomorrow off as well.

Man but does this ever suck!
