Saturday before Thanksgiving
Nov. 19th, 2005 02:05 pmIt was the Saturday before Thanksgiving when she got off the plane... or was it the Friday night, and we didn't wake up till Saturday morning? Either way, it was a solid week of pure wonderfullness where we both told each other that we didn't really want to get involved, we shouldn't get atatched, long-distance romances never work out... we shouldn't fall in love.
A week later waiting for her flight home at the airport, I cried. I've only ever cried like that one other time in my life.
Just over two months later (the week of Valentines Day) I flew to Ohio to see her. This time we weren't so concerned with not getting involved.
A week later waiting for my flight home was the the other time in my life that I had cried like that.
Three months later she had left Ohio and moved in with me here in Lynnwood and he haven't been apart for any discernable amount of time since :)
And so it is that today is the Anniversarry of the day that we swore we wouldn't allow ourselves to get too involved.
Happy Anniversarry, Schmoopie!
