This is an update from
dotgirl's computer. I'm here to sit on their kid, and I am wearing a pair of 50th Anniversarry Golden Mickey Ears from their trip to DisneyLand this past weekend. Thank you!
Anywho, they are on Verizon DSL.
Sure I love to tote the company line and such, but I really must say that I can REALLY detect the difference in speed between Verizon DSL and Comcast High-Speed Broadband! I always figured it was just a line, and that there wouldn't really be that mach detectable difference between 1.5 mbps and 6 mbps, but I was wrong. Kinda cool to see that all the propoganda Comcast has fed me wasn't total lies!
So as I see it now, the only advantages to DSL are the supposedly unlimited static IP addresses that you can pull from them. Comcast only offers Dynamic IP addresses, and it's 4.95 a month more for each additional one that you want.
And on an unrealted note,
dotgirl needs a new ergonomic keyboard. Of all the non-numberpad numbers located above the alpha keys on the keyboard, only 1,2,5,7,8,9, and 0 work.
