It's official!

I've ruined The Chat for EVERYBODY! Mail went out today from management saying that the instant messanger is to be used for business purposes only, no more personal messages. No non-work related messages. No negatively-slanted work-related messages. No more petty bitching and moaning.

Things discovered

-I am THE WORST employee in our entire call center. Took two Supervisors to tell me that, repeatedly.

-I should have been fired today. No idea why they didn't but the meeting went in to great detail regarding why I should be fired.

-Most of the people in the call center (many of whom I considered good friends) consider me to be the biggest, most self-centered asshole in all of forever.

-I am extremely lucky to still be employed today.

-I am very good at not crying in public and semi-public places.

-I am very good at crying in my wifes arms.

-I still have 5 hours of shift to work while knowing all of the above information, which makes it very hard to concentrate on customer service.

*GROAN*

The Employee Handbook section on Ethics that I am required to review states (and I quote)

"Employees should refer to the Employee Handbook for additional information on the topics of Equal Employment Opportunity, Harassment and Sexual Harassment"

THAT'S WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW! YOU CAN NOT USE A CYCLICAL REFERENCE WHEN YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT TERMINATING MY EMPLOYMENT!!!

Human Resources shall be HEARING from me tomorrow!
