Xmas Loot Vol. 3
Dec. 26th, 2005 07:41 pmHooray! I got A HEAD FULL OF ICK for Christams! Just what i always wanted!
I had been having a sore throat all week long, but it wasn't till Christmas Morning that it REALLY started in on me. I wasn't sure before, ut now I'm POSITIVE that it's a sinus thing. I've got a runny-nose feeling but nothing comes out when I blow, all I get is 4 minutes of tightness, ringing ears and that special "zeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiieeeeeeeeeeee" decompression sound that you only get from a sever Sinus Invasion. So tonight will be spent with much salt water being snorted up my nose in hopes that I can get rid if this ick once and for all!
Meanwhile, THE LOOT!
Christmas Day: The number-one BESTEST gift I got on Christmas Day was a pair of Superman Pajamas that actually fit! Quite incredible and quite comfy, the first pair of jammies I have ever owned that didn't feel like a sausage casing ready to explode. Then there was the Hand-Made King-Size Quilt that my mommy made for me with her own two hands! It's definately tailored to be MY blankie, with plenty of super hero fabric and pictures of me all over it so I don't forget what I look like. A book of Regretable Recipies from the 50's/60's/70's (when food fell in to two categories; "Cheesy Meat Dishes" and "Meaty Cheese Dishes") and a box of Bacon-Strip Adhesive Bandages from my crazy sister Jan. And then two gifts that almost made me cry...
