Gilmore Post
May. 3rd, 2006 01:59 pmOkay, so did you know about all the stuff going on behind the scenes on Gilmore Girls? How the creators won't be coming back next season and the show is being taken over by a lunatic stalker? Well I've gotta tell you, I was awfully worried about that. Many have been saying that The Palladinos leaving Gilmore Girls was going to be like Sorkin leaving The West Wing; it's all down-hill from here.
But the last two episodes of Gilmore Girls are ones that were written by the new guy (Dave Rosenthal of "Spin City" fame), an I've gota say they've been some of the absolute best episodes in a very long time! He brought back The Town Troubadore! Soukie is fat again! Paris is back to being Manic/Depressive with fits of rage! Rory is once again a brilliant young woman! Richard and Emilly are once again unwittingly hurtfull instead of schemingly malicious! And Loreli... poor, poor Loreli :(
I haven't felt like this about Gilmore Girls for a good, long while. And even
khristle is back to throwing a pillow at the TV when the episode is over because she's so mad that they did that to us emotionally!
So the best moments about this past Tuesday's episode:
Luke giving his Brother-In-Law the avice that h himslef should have been heeding.
Emilly revealing that she had put so much thought in to buying a house of Luke & Loreli.
Loreli finally accepting that it'll never happen between her and Luke.
Paris & Doyle watching March of The Penguins.
HUNTSBERGER! GRRRRRR!!!
A kilo of Marijuanna -I MEAN PICKLES!
