Crappy weekend

Instead of doing ANYTHING this weekend, The Weekend decided that it would be better if I could do NOTHING this weekend. And then my foot started hurting, too.

I had started a big, long, bitch post blaming everyone and my own Left Foot for my miserable weekend, but none of that would stick.

Everything I did this weekend I did because I wanted to do it and/or becuase it was the right thing to do. It's about time tha OTHER people's lives come first instead of mine. I hate that I'm so selfish.

AND my left foot hurts :(

Robo Rally

As a consolation to my crappy weekend, I decided to go ahead and bid on a copy of Robo Rally on Ebay.

I used to own my own copy, but I mailed it to Hawaii for some odd reason.

There's a somewhat communal copy of it floating around between P&C's and our place, but I've really been wanting a copy for my very own for quite a while now. All my nieces are of the proper age to start playing, and I'm constantly meeting folks that I'd love to get hooked in to a rousing game or two.

So there we go! And I've promised myself that I won't pay over $30 (including shipping) for it, so that means this coming week will be full of MORE listing on Ebay to cover this latest extravegance. But it'll TOTALY be worth it!

Defining "Crappy" Weekend...

I guess I really should refine my definition of a "Crappy" weekend; it's basically any weekend where I don't get things to go exactly my way the way I wanted it because it's all about ME.

There was plenty of good about this weekend, so I really shouldn't complain...

Got to spend PLENTY of quality time with Molly :)

Read several excellent articles on Gaming and Comic Books :)

Had my love of "Who Want's To Be A Super-Hero" increased TEN-FOLD by the latest plot twist :)

Watched the vintage "Friday The 13th: A New Beginning" till 4 in the morning :)

Got to visit with my parents and my Aunt Susan, showed off the cuteness of Molly :)

Finished my download of every "Heores Unlimited" sourcebook and suplement :)

Avoided spending money :)

Finally got to check out teegin's apartment :)

Made a Sculpey Figure for the first time in just over 10 years :)

So really I shouldn't call it a CRAPPY weekend at all! It was just different than what I had planned. If it had gone as planned there woud have been MUCH more "Snuggle Time" with khristle.

EXTREME dissapointment

Aparently McDonalds and I dissagree on what exactly a "Polly Pocket Hummer Happy Meal" should be. I was *WAY* off! But I still say that it would have been a MUCH happier meal had they done it MY way, and would have been MUCH less embarrassing for me having gone through the Drive-Thru with my pants down.

Anywho, my toy is a lil' SUV "Hummer". It's great! You push it and it makes a sound like 20 acres of old-growth Rainforest being clear-cut! Very detailed... you can even wear the lil' howler-monkeys howling in agony!
