Good/Better/Best
Jul. 24th, 2008 02:59 pmGOOD: Coming home with a huge stack of free D&D books including all the new 4th Edition stuff thanks to an old chum who works at WoTC.
BETTER: Coming home to find an enthusiastic letter from the HR rep of WoTC asking to arrange a phone interview less than 24 hours after you submitted your resume'.
BEST: Realizing that the subject line of said e-mail is referring to a position in the company that's a few levels UP from the one you applied for!!!
It took me a good 10 minutes to stop shrieking like a schoolgirl and reply to her request for a phone interview :)
I know that a phone interview is really nothing, like just the first of a 5 or 6-step process of interviews, but hot dammit this is the furthest I've ever gotten with them and I'm STOKED!
