Dude, you're GETTING a Dell?

Latest from Dell: They called at 2am this morning and left a voicemail to confirm the upgrade (from a Dell mini-9 to a Dell Mini-10) at no additional cost and that they needed us to tell them what color we want so they can process the order. And of course, if they didn't hear back from us within 24 hours they would go ahead and cancel our order for us becuase they're such great folks like that. Grrrr.

So Crystal called to confirm that YES, the thing that we've been calling on a weekly basis to confirm that we still wanted it for nearly two months now, yeah, we still want that. Colors available to us are White, Pink or Red but we can upgrade to a BLACK model for an additional fee.

This... this is a joke, right?

Crystal seems pretty positive that unless we call them EVERY DAY, we're not getting our Netbook. Can't say i disagree...

The Brave Little Toaster

By far the most depressingly scary Disney film of all time... THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER. I barely remember watching it once "back in the day", but Molly and i are watching it right now and... WOW. She's engrossed in it! Makes me have high hopes for other non-Princess-Musical-CGI films like The Iron Giant :)

If you've never seen The Brave little Toaster, think of all the saddest, depressing moments of the Toy Story movies (the whole abandoned/forgotten/guilt parts) plus all the frightening parts (Sid)... now take those parts and make a movie about common household appliances.

There's a musical number in here, I sh*t you not, where cars in a junkyard sing about how they can't believe they're about to die and plead for their lives before being mashed to bits by the merciless scrapper. Dark, man... dark.

They can turn that in to a ride at Disneyland, right?

I *HATE* nights like this!

I was so tired back at bed time. We all got in to our jammies, brushed our teeth, I read a bedtime story, Molly and Crystal both fell asleep, I put in my headphones and started to drift off...

All of a sudden WHOA! The album I was listening to is ending (proving that I had indeed fallen asleep) and I am AWAKE. Like, "Rready to start the day" awake!

GRRRRRRRR!!! Morning will be here soon, but not soon enough to justify spendign an entire day on just 18 minutes of sleep!

Gonna get a snack, watch some Hulu... see what happens :(
