Parental Guilt
Jan. 25th, 2010 11:25 amHad our first big decision to make as parents this past weekend... we had to choose between two different Birthday Parties.
ON THE ONE HAND - Little girl turning 5, nice party at the child's home.
ON THE OTHER HAND - Little boy turning 4, AWESOME PARTY at 321 BOUNCE in Everett! Giant inflatable bounce houses! Air Hockey! Giant Boxing Gloves! Jousting! Free-Throw Basketball! Foosball!
The invitations for each party came on the same day, no way to make a cop-out "Well THESE people invited us FIRST" argument. No amount of schedule-juggling and time manipulation would allow for us to make it to both parties. We had to actually MAKE A CHOICE :(
We of course chose the great big Bouncy-House party because, well, it was at the Bouncy House. and it was indeed awesome. Doesn't keep me from feeling guilty, though...
