I've never been able to figure this out properly, but I have theories...
We have one of the (wireless) computers in our home hooked up to our TV to be used as a DVR/DVD/Multimedia solution. WinXP, 2GB RAM, Pentium Somethingorother.
EVERY OTHER WIRELESS COMPUTER in our home (2 others) stream media off the internet just fine. Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, whatever. Crisp, clean, fast, steady connection. But when I try to stream off the internet on to the TV/Computer, it lasts for abut two minutes before "You are no longer connected to The Network. Click here to resolve this problem".
If I try to stream actual DOWNLOADED media over the internal network, like say from Wireless Computer 1 on to the TV/Computer, it works just fine. No problems except for the occasional "hiccup" when we're doing a lot of activity over our network.
IT ONLY LOSES WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY WHEN TRYING TO STREAM VIDEO OVER THE INTERNET.
I *think* I have narrowed it down to one of two things:
Anybody have any thoughts? Going to Fry's tomorrow to try out a new wireless card... fingers crossed! Would love to watch the new Doctor Who streaming live frm the BBC on Saturday morning!

I *think* I have narrowed it down to one of two things:
- The $6 Wireless Card i stuck in this TV/Computer is not up to the task of maintaining the connection and I need to upgrade it.
- The Pentium Somethingorother isn't up to the task of running modern on-line streaming and needs to be upgraded.
