Extra Holiday Money Opportunity

I'm thinking of starting a Holiday Pool based on local radio station Warm 106.9 and when they will switch over to the All Christmas Music format. In the past 4 years it has been as early as the Monday after Halloween and as late as the day after Thanksgiving.

So for every dollar you put in to the pool, you'll get a random day between November 1st and November 30th. If they officially switch over to All Christmas All The Time on one of your days, you get all the money in the pool!

Who's up for this? Deadline would be Halloween (this Sunday)

The Delilah Game

If you own and listen to a Radio in the United States, you've probably heard of Delilah. If not, you can still play the game...

Delilah is the host of a Nationally syndicated Easy Listening/Soft Rock/Adult Contemporary radio program. People call in with their "Story" of why they're listening tonight, and Delilah dedicates a song to that listener that is eerily appropriate for the situation.

SHORT EXAMPLES: Caller says they're listening tonight after having spoken with their son who is stationed over-seas with the Army. Delilah plays "Proud To Be An American" by Lee Greenwood.

Caller is listening tonight because they used to listen every night with their daughter but now the daughter is away at college. Delilah plays "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle.

Simple, right?
