Perfect timing (no, really!)
Jan. 13th, 2011 01:39 pmI have woken up to find that somebody has broken in to our house over night and quietly snuck in to our bedroom to fill my throat with glue and my head with helium. This must have been a monumental feat considering that Molly was awake for most of last night with a wet, hacking cough!
On the bright side, this is just about the best time for this to have happened. Plenty of time to get over whatever is ailing us before DISNEYLAND!!! Three days... that's how long I usually wait for any crud to go away before I go to see a doctor and get antibiotics. Three days...
DISNEYLAND is coming together perfectly! They'll be doing the "Character Fan Days" while we're there, an excellent opportunity to get pics with some costumed characters that aren't usually there or at the very least are difficult to come by. All 7 dwarfs, King Louie & Balloo, Daisy and Donald Duck (together), Captain Hook & Wendy, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabell Cow, Esmerelda and Clopin... Based on Molly's current viewing habits, I wish they had brought back Scrooge McDuck and the Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers :)
Also, friends splurged and got us The Deluxe Dinner Package to go see World of Color at DCA! It's kind of a combined Birthday/Christmas present, and I can hardly wait! Our seating area for the show is DESPISED by the regular folks because it's SO GOOD :)
Star Tours will be down, which is a bummer since that was THE big hit last year, but I think we'll be just fine with all the other stuff we never got around to doing with Molly last year (Jungle Cruise, Tom Sawyer Island, Mark Twain Riverboat, SwiTarzans Family Robinsons Tree House).
