This all started with
aurora77 suggesting that I look into watching free over-the-air TV with a regular old set of rabbit ear antennas. Apparently that STILL WORKS, even though when I worked at Comcast they kind of shoved it down my throat that once the Digital Conversion went through NOBODY would be able to ever use antennas again. They did a real good job of washing my brain...
So I started looking into it, following the idea of Rabbit Ears down a Rabbit Hole of links, data and information. Eventually I found AntennaWeb.org, which I at first assumed was just a phishing scam trying to get information and/or selling old useless antennas BUT NO! It's a site that tells you what stations you should be able to pick up and what type of antenna you'll need and where to aim your antenna and WOW! THIS IS SO COOL!!!
If I spend around $80, I should be able to get almost 20 digital channels for *free*. That's pretty darned awesome!
