Oct. 15th, 2013 07:33 amBreakfast: Jack In The Box "Cheesy Chicken Explosion" Munchie Meal with fries, two tacos and unsweetend iced tea.
Lunch: Taco Time Classic Burrito, Churros.
Dinner: Spanish Rice
Gym: None, 33.5 miles total
Clean: 20/10 x2, 45/15 x1
Starting the record NOW, because I've got BIG PLANS for this coming week and I'm excited!!! But first, a recap of yesterday.
Still sore from the convention (12 straight hours of standing and talking, no sitting down at all), I wasn't up to cooking just yet - and then I heard a ridiculous ad for Jack In The Box featuring new menu items aimed specifically at what could only be coined as "The Stoner Crowd", so I figured I had to try the Cheesy Chicken Explosion. As far as I could tell, it was just a 99-cent chicken sandwich with some Mozzarella Sticks on it, but I could be wrong...
My REAL CRAVING, though, had been for a BURRITO. One of those kinds with rice and beans and meat and cheese and guacamole and sour cream and - y'know, ALL THE THINGS. Had one for lunch with Crystal, and since Taco Time has Churros that are nearly identical to those served at Disneyland? Yeah, we had some of those as well...
Dinner was a last-minute affair. I had been planning on convincing my family that we needed to go out for Sushi, but then it was BILL PAYING NIGHT. BILL PAYING NIGHT is NOT the night to suggest going out for dinner, so I started steaming some rice in hopes that it would inspire me - AND IT DID! Some salsa that needed to be used up, some ground beef, some Taco seasoning... BOOM! Spanish Rice!
It was delicious :)
Today I am prepared to eat nothing but low-carb stuff, hovering right around zero carbs (will be having acorn squash with dinner, and spinach with breakfast). Going to the gym this morning. And to top it all off, today is NO-TECH TUESDAY the day where (starting at 3:30) we turn off all the TV's, video games, cell phones and computers so we can just listen to the record player and play board games till bedtime!
