So here's another one of my brilliant ideas that could make gazillions of dollars; your own custom Internet Radio Station. Imagine, if you will, a custom radio station that plays music from your MP3 collection interspersed with all the podcasts you enjoy on a schedule that you determine.

EXAMPLE: You're listening to the Pentatonix Daft Punk medley, followed by a Bill Hicks comedy bit and then maybe a bit of Elvis - just like having your MP3 player set on random. Then, at the top of every hour you get the most recent 5-minute newscast from NPR followed by the local weather report, then back to your MP3 collection. At 12:15pm you know that the newest episode of the Welcome To Nightvale podcast will be on, and the newest "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" will be playing at 4:45 (just in time for your commute home). Of course, at any time you can pause, skip or "Save For Later".

It would be an integration of a Podcast Aggregator, Media Player and Timing Calculator. The biggest function of the app would be to recalculate the programming line-up on the fly - It would try to get the hourly NPR Newscast as close to the top of the hour as possible for you, using your MP3 collection as filler till it is downloaded. You may be listening to a song that's 4 minutes long and hit "Skip", it'll have to immediately recalculate and maybe even rebuild the entire playlist *fast*.
