Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the day my Dad died. Despite much sorrow and dread leading up to it, it was a delightful day spent with my family! We drove up to Mount Vernon to get my Mom and then off to visit Dad's tombstone in Anacortes (home town). We put a wreath on the grave and left a bottle of his Rhubarb Wine (with two wineglasses which we had drank a toast with), then off to Subway for lunch. It was all very laid-back and we all had quite a bit of fun :)
Wel left town and made it all the way to Smokey Point before we needed to turn around and head back to Mount Vernon - Mom was in the Emergency Room. Another one of her Panic Attacks that feels *exactly* like a Heart Attack :( We stayed till a doctor told us that everything was okay, then we headed home.
Once we got home, we found a package on our doorstep from Santa's Helpers - a funky little 5-foot-tall plastic white tinsel Christmas Tree!
