MOVIEPASS DAY 1: ISLE OF DOGS
Apr. 19th, 2018 03:58 pmSPENT: $30 (one pass for each of us)
MOVIES SEEN: 1 (Isle of Dogs)
TICKETS PURCHASED: 1 ($11.01 with tax)
COST PER TICKET: $30
My Dreamwidth account is the PERFECT PLACE to blog about my MoviePass experience, right? COOL!
My intent is to keep a record of how many movies we saw and how much it *actually* cost us per movie. I might also note if/when we buy concessions, though I must confess (concessiofess?) that we usually sneak food and drink into the theater with us. But that all just might change now!
My very first MoviePass movie was Wes Anderson's ISLE OF DOGS. I probably never would have seen this movie if not for MoviePass because of The Wes Anderson Curse. Even though I LOVE Wes Anderson movies, I end up not seeing them because of circumstances entirely within my control - I decide to go see a Big Budget Summer Blockbuster film instead, I end up renting some movie I didn't want to see instead because somebody told me I should really give it a chance, I'm looking for a movie that everyone will like instead of just *me*, It's available to stream on Amazon but I'm already logged in to Netflix... stupid, stupid reasons. I still have note seen The Life Aquatic for these reasons and more!
Isle Of Dogs was a wonderful treat just for *me*, and I loved it :)
