In the strangest/most perfect/completely wrong casting job in the history of all of forever, Kelsey "Frasier Crane" Grammer will be playing The Beast in the third X-Men movie.

There'd better be one HELLUVALOTTA CGI in that movie! Matter of fact, I'd be much happier if they bypassed any actual *acting* by Mr. Grammer and instead just let him do the voice talents from behind the sceenes.

Can they pull this off? The more I think about it the more I like this casting choice... but then I remember what Kelsey Grammer LOOKS LIKE. And it's WRONG!!! But the voice, the mannerisms... maybe? NO! NEVER! Yes?

I'll be shizo over this issue till AT LEAST the day I see the first production shots.

Chances are they'll do what they did when his TV brother played Abe Sapien in "Hellboy:" Someone else will play the body, and he'll just do the voice.

The Beast may very well be the first COMPLETELY CGI character in the X-Men series. But I have to admit, his voice is perfect.
