Just found out that the 8th Grade is considered to be "The Blowjob Year", because that's the age that most people first experiment with oral sex.

my younger brother is in eighth grade. I really don't want to think about him doing any of that. Girls now are soooo hootchie anyway....altho if i think about it, my friends were hootchie in eighth as well. I was the good one. I waited until i was in high school...sort of.:/

My best friend got pregnant when we were in 8th grade! Then there was that biology trip to the coast to see the tide pools, where half the girs that were still virgins lost it on the beach at a campfire. Okay I'm pretty sure no one was giving blow jobs in the same, hi nice to meet you kind of way that makes the Dr. Phil show, but beer, drugs and sex were all there in 1973. I have no idea why we are all so convinced that "none of that happened at my school when I was that age", but it did. Maybe thats the difference of having 38 kids in your class instead of 1000.If one of the 16 boys got lucky they told the other guys, and if one of the 22 girls did it, she told at least 8 of her best friends who told the rest of us. And if she did it and it was fun, why not?

Now if you want to say that in my day, there were no gays,leasbians or bisexuals in the 8th grade. That's a true statement!!!! ;-D

It's stuff like this that just makes me realize how completely out of touch I was with the rest of my peers. I had seen it in movies, read about it in comic books, but I had never seen in real life a High School party, kegger, drug dealer or sexual ambiguity. I guess it really was all there right under my nose the whole time, wasn't it?

It was, I saw it and didn't understand it. With perfect 20/20 homo hindsight, I can see the other people who were gay, and the teacher that gently hit on me in my senior year. I was way too shy, and even though I knew I liked girls the way I was suppose to like boys, I bought into the "you'll go to college and meet a nice boy." I met lots of nice boys, but none of them made my whole body come to alert the way the bad girl across the hall did.
