October 23rd at The Seattle Center! It's a Steve Miner show, so it'll be kinda dinky and mostly dealers, but hey! It's a Seattle area comic book convention! Good thing they waited till NOW to do one instead of doing one over the summer when there was any type of HYPE over comics thanks to Sin City, Batman Begins, Fantastic Four and/or Sky High. It would have been TERRIBLE to have that much free publicity!
I guess I can't really blame them... it seems that the Summer is now monopolized by the "Big Guns" across the nation. Who would go see Randy Emberlin in Seattle when they could see Alex Ross, Frank Miller, Jim Lee, Brian Michael Bendis, Paul Jenkins, Kevin Smith and Stan Lee pretty much anywhere else in the country at a BIG convention?
Anywho... anybody else gonna be attending the convention?
